LATEST NEWS

Hello everyone!  The  Boys and I want to wish you all a very happy, healthy and safe holiday season!

Happy New Year All!  I hope you all had a happy and safe holiday season!  Looking forward to seeing you at one of our performances in the near future.  In the meantime...stay safe!!

UPDATE:  Hey Everyone!  The good news is that I am pretty well healed and I will be able to return to the stage starting on November 20th at the Hard Rock.  (However, I won't return to the Rush Lounge at the Nugget until the first week of December). I can't wait to see you all! In the meantime have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Tuesday, October 26.     Hello Everyone...I have some news that I wish I did not have to report.  I have a small vocal chord injury.  I am healing well, but I will need to be completely quiet for at least the next two weeks.  So that affects all the dates you see posted here on the calendar.  My apologies and I will keep you all posted on my progress.

Hello Everyone!  I wanted to say a big "Thank You" to all our friends and fans that have come out to see us as we returned to all of our favorite venues (Rush, The Deck, the Lobby Bar, the Boiler Room) over the past month.  I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it felt to see everyone's smiling faces and hear the wonderful applause as the Boys and I knocked off the rust of a fourteen month layoff and get back into the groove.  We are looking forward to a fabulous summer!  See you soon!

It is 2021 Everyone!  The boys and I hope that you all have made it through this crazy time safely.  We are excited to begin taking the stage again starting in May.  The performance dates are now updated in our calendar and we hope to see you soon.

As I'm sure you all know...all of our dates have been canceled for the forseeable future.  We will be excited to announce our return when it is permitted.  In the mean time, please, everyone, stay safe out there!

Thanks to everyone who came out to our second appearance at Josie Kelly's Public House in Somers Point.  Lots of dancing and good vibes all around.

Many thanks to all of the friends and fans that made it out to Josie Kelly's Public House in Somers Point last night for our first performance at that venue.  It was a full house, thanks in great part to the wonderful article written by Joe Molineaux (you can access it by going to our press page) and we had a blast!  Special thanks to Charlie for hooking us up and doing such a fabulous job with the sound.  Looking forward  to our return on February 28th!

Hello Everyone!  I wanted to say thank you for making 2019 such a great one for all of us!  We hope to see you all very soon at one of our performances.  Have a Happy and Healthy 2020!!

THIS JUST IN...after 10 great years going out to Motown...the Motor City Casino has decided to close the Chromatics Lounge to make room for a sports betting parlor!  We, of course, are saddened by this news.  I do, however, want to thank Bill Borenstein for bringing us out to Detroit in the first place...thank you Bill, we had a glorious time making music in Motown!!

Thank you as well, to our compatriot from Canada, Len Temelini, sax extraordinaire, who has been with us for the entire 10 year run!  Thanks LT for all the funky notes (and the crazy dancing)...we will miss you much!

It was also our extreme pleasure to meet a most extraordinary drummer in the likes of Jeff Canady. Jeff, you made it a pleasure to perform as we all strived to keep the groove that you so masterfully laid down!  We will all miss playing with you!

Last, but never least, all the friends and fans that we made during the last 10 years. What can I say...("Hey Buddy!")...thank you for making us feel like part of the Motown family.  We will truly miss each and every one of you!!

Don't want to forget...special thanks to...Bob Coulon, Frank Maione, Danny Eyer, Rick Trahan and Don Shough for taking all the 11 hour drives and laying down all the right grooves.  Wouldn't have been as much fun without ya fellas!!

I also need to acknowledge Damon Soumas, who did the entire year 8 with us at the drum chair and Butter Hawkins and Myron Bell, both of whom subbed in for one night each and crushed it!  Thanks guys for helping to keep us rocking’ and rollin’!!

 2019 NEWS

Back from Motown!  What a funky good time!  Can't believe it's our 10th year going out to the Motor City Casino...thanks Bill Borenstein for bringing us out there!  Lots of great grooves thanks to drummer extraordinaire Jeff Canady, he really makes it fun and goovin'...and all the notes from our partner from Windsor, Len Temelini.  Lenny has been with us the entire 10 years...looking forward to more brother!  There was one night that Jeff could not make it and we had the fortunate pleasure of playing with Aretha Franklin's drummer Myron Bell...another funky man...thanks Myron for a great night on the wood! Oh, and I don't want to forget Charles Profit from Jeff's band who did a fabulous job as well.  Most importantly, my brothers in arms for many years Bob Coulon and Rick Trahan who brought the funk and made it all happen as well, thanks boys...it's always a groove!  See you folks in Detroit in October!!!  Thanks for coming and making us feel like home.

Back from our first trip to Detroit this year.  This is the start of our 10th season!!  As usual we were greeted warmly by all the wonderful fans that we have garnered over these last 9 years.  Don Shough was revered by all the blues afficiandos as he wailed through Hendrick's "Red House" to the screams of all the adoring fans.  Of course we were driven by the "goovemaster" Jeff Canady on the drums and our compatriot of the past 9 years Len Temelini on sax, who each have quite a fan base of their own!  And I can't leave out the man who holds us all together by covering two bases at once (keys/bass), my partner for many years Bob Coulon! Simply..a wonderfully musical trip!!  Looking forward to July!

FABULOUS NIGHT AT DINO'S BACKSTAGE!!                                  I want to sincerely thank everyone who bought tickets to the Bobby Darin Show at Dino's on March 1...it was a magical night and you all made it so!!  Such an outpouring of warmth and love  is something that every performer should feel at least once on stage...such a fun night!!  Thank you again!! Oh, FYI...we have been asked back!!  I'll keep you all posted!

Got to spread the news that my son Isaac is home from LA for the summer and gigging with us on the Nugget Deck...check the gallery for pics by the incomparable John Loreaux...thanks John!!

Hey Everyone!  Breaking news....we just played for 4000 new employees at the Hard Rock Employee Pep Rally!  Very cool...check the pic on our press page!!
